How Facet Shift works
The rings are the clock. Each whole second, every ring takes one short, eased step, and neighboring rings step in opposite directions. The pattern never repeats a color trick: the triangles are fixed, so the motion reads as one mechanism turning.
The final minute puts the palette accent on the plate outline. Count-up keeps the same rhythm with elapsed time on the plate and no target.
What can I change?
Six palettes: three dark weaves and three shade studies on a warm white ground. Pick a digit font, set the background color, or go transparent and let the rings sit over your scene.
Facet Shift sets its own ink, so a saved timer color, bar, ring, or font-size setting doesn't change the design. Duration, clock targets, messages, start triggers, resume, and overtime still work.
What happens at the end?
At zero the plate reads 00:00 and the rings hold their last position. Overtime keeps that position, sets the digits in accent, and draws the plus beside them so the number stays centered.
