Botanical Bookmark

A quiet bookmark. The leaves show the passing minute.

A narrow paper bookmark hung on a cord, with a stitched circle for the time and a sprig of autumn leaves below it. Over one minute the color drains out of the leaves from the bottom up; over the next it returns. Nothing ticks. The bookmark just sits at the edge of your scene and keeps time quietly.

How Botanical Bookmark works

The leaves keep their own slow time. Grey climbs the sprig for one minute and recedes for the next, two minutes per full breath, slow enough to live beside a camera without asking for attention. Count-up breathes at the same pace. The time itself sits in the stitched circle near the top, in the bookmark's own serif.

The final minute warms the sprig with a copper tint that deepens as the seconds run out, so the last stretch reads different without turning urgent.

What can I change?

Set the background color or go transparent and hang the bookmark over your scene. Messages work as everywhere else and default to the bookmark's serif; pick another message font if you'd rather. Botanical Bookmark sets its own digit face and palette, so a saved timer color, bar, ring, or font-size setting doesn't change the design. Duration, clock targets, start triggers, resume, and overtime still work.

What happens at the end?

At zero the bookmark goes still, the leaves keep their color, and one small gold repair stitch appears under the circle. Overtime turns the leaves copper and counts the elapsed time up in the circle. The bookmark is patient.

A plain timer stays ready.

TimerBox shows a visual theme only after the full display is ready. If the theme cannot start or stops drawing, a plain digit timer takes its place.
